I bought some ombre fabric and it seemed like it would make a beautify paint drips style quilt (similar visuals to A Quilters Mixology by Angela Pingel).
I did some sketches of what I wanted to do, came up with a few extra layers, then started cutting out the pieces, had to re-imagine a few areas because I only had a half yard of each colour. It isn't as perfect as I'd like - a few don't quite follow the color fading because I couldn't fit the shapes into the 1/2 yard but it was sooooooo close. I've gotten about half way through the piecing, it looks wonderful so far! Other pictures are up on Flickr: Paint Drips My Way Comments are closed.
